The Movement for Good 4th and final special draw is for charities supporting young people. There will be 10 prizes of £5,000. Deadline: 10th November 2023.
The Peter Sowerby Foundation has launched an open call for proposals to support up to 5 organisations to receive initial funding of up to £500,000 for the launch or scale-up of existing initiatives to tackle the UK’s most pressing health issues. To be eligible, organisations must have a minimum turnover of £5m and have a national reach and the potential to scale programmes. Deadline: 5pm, 14th December 2023.
The British Gas Energy Support Fund has been set up in response to the increasing cost of living and rising inflation to help eligible British Gas customers with fuel debt of £250 to £1,500 to pay their energy bills over the coming months. Funding is being made available to help financially vulnerable people who are struggling to pay their energy bills.
The Cash for Kids Cost of Living Fund will support families in the South of England who have a genuine need for help and are suffering from disadvantage due to the crisis. Grants of £50 per child are available which can be used for basic essentials. Service providers who support vulnerable children, including schools, social services, health professionals and charities, can apply on behalf of the families they work with.
Chichester District Council has received government funds for UK Shared Prosperity and Rural England Prosperity. The funding is to be distributed to businesses, community groups, charities, social enterprises, sporting organisations and cultural bodies to deliver projects that build pride of place and increase the life chances of its residents. The deadline for both funds is 3rd January 2024 at 6pm.
NextEnergy has launched the Solar Impact Fund to support communities living near its assets across West Sussex. The funding programme will provide grants of up to £1,500 to any social or environmental projects that focus on improving education and skills. Deadline: 24th October 2024.
The second round of the Southern Railway’s Your Station, Your Community Improvement Fund has reopened and is accepting applications from registered charities, CICs, community groups and other not-for-profit organisations such as community rail partnerships, schools & colleges, business partnerships, town councils and parish councils. The fund will support causes under the following key themes: mental health, education, and employability skills amongst marginalised groups, as well as diversity and inclusion and environmental sustainability. Grants of up to £10,000 are available. Deadline: 15th December 2023.
